Membership Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to memberships and member content provided by Jonathan David, publishing as Author Jonathan David (“the Author,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By registering for a membership, purchasing access, or using member content, you agree to these terms and the specific membership details presented at checkout.

1. Mature Content and Parental Permission

Our fiction and entertainment are intended for mature audiences, generally age 18 and older. Content may include strong language, violence, sexual themes, disturbing situations, substance use, crime, dark humor, and other adult subject matter.

If you are under 18, you may access content only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian, where permitted by law and the applicable content restrictions. A parent or guardian must complete any paid registration on your behalf and review whether the material is appropriate for you.

Content specifically designated “18+ only” is restricted to adults, even with parental permission. Parental permission does not override legal age restrictions. Accounts are not available to children under 13.

We may restrict access or terminate accounts that do not satisfy these requirements.

2. Fiction, Satire, Comedy, and Entertainment

Our fiction, fictional narratives, dramatizations, satire, comedy, and performances are creative works provided for entertainment. They may contain exaggeration, invented dialogue, unreliable narrators, fictional scenarios, provocative language, and deliberately absurd statements.

Unless expressly identified otherwise, characters, dialogue, and events within fictional works are invented or used fictitiously. Similarities to actual people or events may be coincidental. References to real people, places, organizations, or public events within satire or commentary must be understood in their surrounding context.

The beliefs, conduct, and statements of fictional characters, narrators, guests, or performed personas do not necessarily represent the Author’s personal beliefs. Depicting conduct does not mean endorsing or encouraging it.

3. Commentary, Opinions, and Personal Experiences

Podcasts, livestreams, discussions, and other commentary may include personal opinions, impressions, anecdotes, speculation, jokes, and informal reactions. Personal recollections may be incomplete or mistaken. Statements attributed to others are not necessarily independently verified.

Entertainment commentary is not presented as authoritative reporting or a comprehensive account of a subject. Assess statements in their full context and independently verify factual information before relying on it.

We do not claim that every statement is fiction merely because it appears alongside entertainment. Statements expressly presented as factual remain subject to applicable law.

4. No Professional Advice or Guaranteed Results

Membership content is not medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other individualized professional advice. Viewing, reading, or interacting with the Author does not create a professional-client relationship.

Fiction and entertainment are not intended to teach, diagnose, treat, or direct your personal decisions. Any study guides, courses, or informational materials offered separately provide general guidance and personal perspectives. They do not replace accredited instruction, textbooks, qualified professionals, or your own judgment.

We do not guarantee academic success, employment, income, publication, improved health, or any other outcome. You remain responsible for your decisions and actions. Do not imitate dangerous, unlawful, or harmful conduct depicted or discussed in the content.

5. Membership Benefits and Content Availability

Your membership includes only the benefits described for your selected level at the time of purchase. Access to one membership does not automatically include every product, physical item, service, or membership level.

Some content may be unfinished, published in installments, revised, or narrated one chapter at a time. Unless expressly promised in your membership description, no particular release date, production schedule, quantity of new content, or personal response is guaranteed.

We may update the website and content library. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems, hosting changes, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These terms do not remove benefits or remedies expressly promised at purchase or required by law.

6. Payments, Renewals, and Cancellation

The price, billing frequency, access period, and any recurring charges will be shown at checkout.

Recurring memberships renew at the disclosed interval until canceled. One-time memberships do not carry recurring membership charges unless you separately authorize them.

You may cancel through the cancellation option in your membership account. If you cannot access that option, contact us through the website for assistance. Cancellation stops future renewals once processed; the checkout terms determine when access ends.

Any change to recurring pricing will be communicated before it takes effect, with any consent required by applicable law.

7. Refunds

Except where required by law or expressly stated in a particular offer, payments for digital memberships and digital content are nonrefundable once access has been provided. Cancellation does not automatically create a refund for a completed billing period.

This policy does not limit your rights concerning unauthorized charges, billing errors, undelivered purchases, or other remedies required by law. Contact us through the website if you experience a purchase or access problem.

8. Lifetime Access Offers

Where expressly offered, “lifetime access” means access without recurring membership fees for the operating life of the applicable membership service or content library. It does not mean a guarantee that any particular website, hosting provider, or technology will operate forever.

If a service moves, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate available replacement access. Retain your receipt and access information so your purchase can be verified. This provision does not override a more specific written promise made with your purchase.

9. Personal Use and Copyright

Unless otherwise authorized in writing, membership content is licensed for your personal, noncommercial use. Purchasing access does not transfer copyright or ownership.

You may not redistribute member files, share private access codes or login credentials, resell content, or upload complete member materials to public websites. Uses permitted by applicable copyright law remain permitted.

10. Member Conduct and Submissions

Members must not use the website or community features for threats, harassment, unlawful activity, impersonation, or unauthorized disclosure of another person’s private information.

You are responsible for material you submit and must have permission to share it. Do not submit confidential information or material you are not authorized to disclose.

If you submit a question specifically for a public or member podcast, discussion, or Q&A, you authorize us to quote or paraphrase that question for that purpose. We will seek separate permission before identifying you beyond a name or identifier you have expressly authorized for publication.

We may moderate submissions and suspend or terminate access for material violations of these terms, subject to applicable law and any required notice or refund rights.

11. Third-Party Services and Privacy

Payments, hosting, embedded media, and other features may be provided by third parties under their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their availability or operation.

Our handling of personal information is described in the website’s separate Privacy Policy. These terms do not replace that policy.

12. Disclaimers and Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, content and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, freedom from errors, or suitability for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Author is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the services or reliance on entertainment content.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other conduct protected by mandatory law. Your statutory consumer rights remain intact.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms and will update the effective date when changes are made. Material changes affecting existing memberships will be communicated where required by law. Changes will not retroactively eliminate accrued rights or authorize charges you have not agreed to.

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
