Here is my reply to comment from @moncur9265: I have been out of the educational system for, 4 years now and I do want to go back to school/college to become a science teacher. It’s hard to motivate myself to go back when I know people my age has already started. On top of that many of my friends that did go to school right out of high school and nearing the end of their university years are saying that it’s not even worth it anymore (the degree). That even with a degree you need to have a networking system to land a job in the field you want to work in. It’s incredibly frustrating because having a degree is what pays for a “stable/secure job” but all of my friends are stressing from finding jobs that pay for their degrees. Having a degree is better than having no degree, is what I have to keep telling myself but again it’s depressing. I’m just venting rn but yeah, if you can expand on maybe how to navigate “networking” or getting along with your fellow peers in college/university, that will be helpful too
